property taxes
Property tax exemptions help to lower taxable value for some taxing units, therefore likely lowering your property tax bill. THERE IS NO CHARGE TO APPLY FOR TAX EXEMPTIONS. Contact the Falls County Appraisal District to find out if you qualify for an exemption and to get more information on the application process. There are companies that charge a fee to help you file an exemption and we want to remind taxpayers that it is free (and fairly easy) to apply! You can also visit the Falls Appraisal District's website at www.fallscad.org for more information on exemptions.
